Western Arkansas Technical Center (WATC)

  • Available to students in grades 11-12. 
  • Students will need to have met the following eligibility requirements for admission:
  • 2.0 GPA
  • Test scores on file from ACT Aspire, ACT, or ACCUPLACER. Students in the LPN program must have 19+ subscores in English, Reading, and Math on the ACT.

Smart Start

  • Students are eligible for admission to the program with a 2.5+ high school GPA and 19+ sub scores on the ACT. 
  • Students may also receive placement for the program through the ACCUPLACER exam offered on the UAFS campus.

Interested in applying? Please follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the Application for Concurrent Admission.
  2. Complete the Participation Agreement Form. The participation agreement form will need to be signed by the student, parent/guardian, and school official (counselor or principal).
  3. Connect with your high school counselor to submit your registration form, test scores, and transcript.
  4. Submit your transcript and test scores. Your high school transcript with test scores must be supplied through your high school counselor.  This provides UAFS with information that shows you are academically ready to start taking college courses.
